Hi friends and supporters! I pray this ARMOR UP update finds all of you happy, full of joy, and overflowing with peace. Summer is just around the corner. Are we ready for the fun and heat? May we consider it all joy. May we treasure every moment because tomorrow isn’t given! May we live life to the fullest measure, staying in true thankfulness for all that is good and right in our lives! I thank God for all of you!
Painting Stones
Loved painting our stepping stones with encouraging words and scriptures for the entryways to Freedom and Victory house with you ladies! I enjoy watching you all be so creative! We also painted our rocks to go place at bus stops, where people walk, and where the homeless dwell. We do this every year to encourage our brothers and sisters in our neighborhoods! We are blessed to be able to do this and literally have a miracle story of one woman, who came to Freedom House, who literally found one of our rocks that said surrender and went into treatment the next day. We can’t make this stuff up. God is so good. Amanda, if you happen to read this, we love you and you encourage us to keep going and placing our stones in our city to hopefully make a difference in someone’s life and remind them Jesus loves them!
Andrea’s Wedding
Congratulations, Andrea and Jerry! It was a beautiful ceremony and reception. We all had such an amazing time. It was such an honor to have the opportunity to be your officiant and be a part of sealing the covenant you both have made before God and all of your friends and family. Andrea, you were the most beautiful bride, and I had so much fun coming early to help you get ready on this most special day. What a blast we had. I really enjoyed that special girl time. I pray for God’s overwhelming blessings and favor over you and Jerry, over your marriage, all the way into eternity. I pray you always treasure each other in the same way you did on this day. I pray you honor each other in everything you do, and most of all, I pray that the both of you seek God more together than you ever have before. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May he make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord turn his face towards you and give you peace.
Birthdays
We are wishing two of our beautiful women a very happy birthday! We are so blessed to have the opportunity to do this recovery journey alongside both of you. It has been amazing to watch the two of you begin to come out of your shells and move forward into all that God is calling you to. Praying his overwhelming blessing and favor over you in this new year of your lives!
CeCe Winans Concert
We had an amazing time seeing CeCe Winans with some of the women in the houses. We are so grateful to our dear friend Lauren Travers at Northland Church, who was able to get the tickets donated for us. It is always such a great experience getting to praise and worship with all of the women. The show was incredible!

It is always such an honor to be able to attend church with our girls and their families. How beautiful is this group of miracles? I love getting to worship and learn with you guys ❤️
New AC at Freedom House
We want to give a huge thank you to our incredible friends and supporters Tim and Linda Benjamin, who own Victory Air, for the incredible donation of two brand new air conditioners at Freedom House! We are so grateful to the two of you for your faithful and ongoing support of this ministry.

We are so excited to announce that we will be participating in another NAMI walk in partnership with our friends at Celebrate Recovery at Northland! NAMI is an incredible organization making strides in the Mental Health and co-occurring disorder community. Homeless Backpack Outreach
We wanted to share that it is time again for our Homeless Backpack Outreach. We use this day to go out into our community and share the gospel with the lost and broken while also providing them with everyday essentials like toiletries and hygiene products, snacks, socks, Bibles, etc. We have been so blessed to do this every year and have the opportunity to pray over, encourage, and bless our brothers and sisters who have lost their way, out of our abundance. We ask that anyone who feels called to do so please consider contributing in any way that you can. We have included below a list of items we have found to be very helpful, but if there is anything we are missing that you think could be useful, we would greatly appreciate it. We are so incredibly happy to say that we have received the 100 backpacks. Cash donations are also accepted through Venmo @armoruprecovery (please title: Homeless Backpacks).
