The death toll of drug and alcohol abuse is ever increasing and staggering. Sober living homes are a pivotal, crucial part of the recovery process, enabling addicts to heal and learn to maintain long term recovery. There is a dire need for sober living homes for women.
Armor Up is dedicated to the ministry of serving and loving others by helping them find Gods truth for their lives, freedom, and healing from the inside out from the chains of all their addictions, obsessions, and compulsions. To show and teach others how to put off their old self which is being corrupted by their flesh and desires and to put on their new self, which is being made new in the attitude of their minds (Ephesians 4:22-24). When we make it out of our HELL alive and with newfound freedom, healing, truth, and peace – it starts a fire in our soul. We at Armor Up want to rise up these recovered women to go and PASS IT ON and be the change in the world that we want to see!
Our recovery homes, Freedom House and Victory House, help women heal from the inside out through a 12 step program and through inner restoration healing. Armor Up offers support through sponsors, workshops, service projects, bible study, and various community resources. We help them create a personalized recovery plan, learn to communicate effectively and safely, and to have accountability in all areas of their recovery journey.
We are currently growing here at Armor Up. There is a large demand for women’s faith based recovery sober living homes. Currently, we are thriving at Freedom House and Victory House. In the future, we aspire to open multiple more faith based recovery homes, possibly an entire recovery village.

A Note From Our Founder
My name is Angella Moore, I am a Certified Recovery Peer Specialist (CRPS), and I was once part of the opioid epidemic. I am in long term recovery from drugs, alcohol, OCD, anxiety, depression, and codependency. What this means for me is that I no longer find it necessary to numb the way I feel with drugs, alcohol, or people. Now, I have dedicated my life to helping others in their recovery process to overcome the same.
The death toll of drug and alcohol abuse is ever increasing and staggering. Not only is this a devastating statistic, but also very personal for me because it has been part of my family and my own story. My father died in his drug addiction and disease, and just years later, I too was knocking on deaths doors. But I was given another chance at life. So with my new life, I now use it to love, serve, guide, and protect individuals walking their own journey of recovery.
My mess has become my message which I now use to bring awareness to communities, as well as hope and guidance to those in recovery. My mission is to go into the whole world, (jails, institutions, treatment centers, the streets, churches etc), and share my testimony and Gods grace, love, and truth for their lives.
I believe God has a special and a great plan for all individuals and it is my hope that through Armor Up, we can help turn a dominant drug addiction epidemic into a dominant recovery movement through our faith based programs and services.
