We pray this message finds you in good health and high spirits. We cannot believe 2025 is now over half way complete! A lot is going on in our nation and our prayers are needed now more than ever. Lord we pray for your mercy, grace, POWER, and your will be done in our nation. We are very blessed and thankful to God for another wonderful two months, with lots to celebrate. August is overdose awareness month and September is recovery month so the majority of our focus was on being a light at these events and spreading awareness, celebrating the good and supporting the hurting families, and people effected in some way by addiction and overdoses.

Save Our City Rival

Had an amazing time at the Freeway Orlando Save Our City Revival! It was all weekend, Friday night to Saturday night connecting with other ministries, worship, recovery testimonies, and good ole REAL church. Thank you to Freeway Ministries for all that you do in the addiction and recovery community. I love that we have the one and the same mission, discipling that one lost sheep to fruition of stepping them into their God-given purpose and now they can go and spread the gospel to the four corners of the world. You truly are the hands and feet of Jesus, loving and reaching out to the most lost and broken for the salvation of many. I LOVE our partnership and may we continue to be the body of Christ that God called us to be. I love ALL of you involved. Thank you for this particular incredible, life-changing event each year.

The Saturday morning march around Lake Eola brought me back to Joshua marching around the walls to bring down the walls of Jericho. We were bringing down the walls of evil, division, separation, addiction, and despair to become one. All these walls CAME DOWN as we marched, getting to be the light and spread the gospel, and I thank you for the honor to getting to do that with you all. Lives were truly changed that day.

Celebrate Recovery Angella Testimony

Angella was asked to be the testimonial speaker at Celebrate Recovery held at Action Church – Sanford on August 19th. It was a powerful group and many lives were touched by hearing the story God gave her and how she has leaned on Him through it all.

Overdose Awareness Event

This month we got to attend Project Noelle’s Overdose Awareness Event. We appreciate you Ms. Keli Clark and all that you do for the overdose awareness and recovery community. We especially love this event each year – to connect with parents and families and organizations with people who have lost loved ones. It’s very near and dear to our hearts to love on all mothers and fathers and children who’ve lost parents. We see this every day being in the front lines dealing with the fentanyl posioning and overdoses. We have to keep up the good fight of faith together and spread awareness and link together arm and arm to be the light to the broken, the addicted, and the families of the lost. Thank you for doing this so well and bringing us together each year to honor the lives of those we love and loved. It touched us deeply to release the butterflies in honor of those we loved.

“Look At What The Lord Has Done” Dinner

We first want to thank Harvest Time International for ALL that you do for Armor Up Recovery Homes and Ministry. You all have been a blessing for us. Thank you so much for hosting the the “Look What The Lord Has Done” dinner and celebration too.

What an honor it was to get to come and bring all the Armor Up girls for an AMAZING, and delicious dinner and dessert. The worship was over the top, so Holy Spirit filled and anointed. And Dr./Pastor Decker Tappscott was phenomenal, not to be reckoned with. What a mighty solider of God preaching the gospel. Taking communion with all of you was so special and I know our Lord was shining down on all of us. Several of our women even received a special word and much needed touch. We will be there next year, wouldn’t miss it for the world. May God bless you all, We Love YOU!

Medallion Celebrations!

I am SO proud of all four of you beautiful ladies at Armor Up. What a blessing it was to get to go and be a part of all four of you getting your multiple year medallions on Saturday evening!! What an honor it was to personally give you Kasey, and you Maria your two year medallions.

I can’t believe, Briana, you picked up three years clean and sober. I remember the day I picked you up from that motel room broken and beaten beyond words, trying to look in the woods across the street for your clothes because you lived outside most of the time. You have come along way baby. I’m so proud of you.
Congratulations Elizabeth on your three years!
Kasey you have just come alive. I’m so excited to see all God has in store for you!
Maria (my lioness) you were made to praise and I believe all that God has for you!

ALL of you are miracles. Each and every one of you has come so far and I LOVE being on this healing and recovery journey with you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

Bingo Night!

WOW! Bingo night was a HUGE success! Thank you SO much from the bottom of our hearts for everyone’s support, donations, love, laughter, and fun. It was truly a night to remember and cherish forever. We are blown away by how many individuals and families came to support this ministry.

We are beyond grateful for Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, Dominos Pizza, Slam Dunk Sandwiches, Oviedo Bowling Center, Andrea and St. John’s Rivership, Culvers, Mike Cramr, Melissa at Christ Church Longwood, our friends and family at Celebrate Recovery, and our Board Members for their generous donations and time to the event.

We cannot do what we do without each and every one of you. Playing Bingo is just one of the many ways we can come together and continue the fight against ALL addictions, human trafficking, abuse, and mental illness for women in recovery.

Thank you again! Please enjoy the photos below, and if you missed it this year that is okay because we’ll be back soon!! We love you all and may God bless each of you abundantly.

Brevard Recovery Fest

Thank you Laura for all you do in the recovery community. Brevard Recovery Fest was one of the most amazing recovery events we’ve had the honor of being a part of yet. We received a wealth of information and enjoyed all of the conversations and connections we were able to make. Thank you for having us! We will be back again next year, God willing.

Walk for Lives

Thank you Gretchin Murray for your Walk For Life event that we were able to attend. Thank you for having us be a part of it, it was such an honor to hear your story and others who have lost loved ones due to fentanyl poisoning. My heart goes out to you and to all who have lost their loved ones due to fentanyl poisoning. We love all that you are doing in the overdose awareness community. What an inspiration you are! We enjoyed all of your speakers and being able to walk for such a good-worth-while cause. It’s just tragic the people we lose due to this disgusting crime. Believing with all the work being done to close the boarders, the Chinese, who use the Mexican cartel to illegally traffic in the lethal fentanyl are being stopped! A lethal dose of fentanyl is the size of a grain of sand and one pill has killed many youth trying drugs for the very first time. You can order marijuana and these elicit deadly pills to be delivered to your door right off of Tik Tok. The high is so potent and good in all these drugs that are laced with fentanyl your hooked instantly, they are putting it in everything. Unless you get it from a doctor, you’re playing Russian Roulette with your life. It breaks my heart to meet the mother’s of the teenagers that were just in the experimental stage like a LOT of us went through. We will help you spread awareness in anyway we can as we have lost many also being in the recovery home ministry. Congratulations on your Gage’s Bill that you got passed in legislations. We need more advocates like you to be the voice of truth as we try to stop the opioid overdose and poisoning crisis. I absolutely love your The United Against Fentanyl Manifesto, so POWERFUL! I want to make a video with all my Armor Up girls quoted all 5 pillars. Thank you again for all you do and God bless you.

Kasey’s Graduation

Congratulations Kasey on your two years clean date AND graduation from Armor Up Recovery Homes. You are definitely not the same broken little girl who walked through that front door of Victory house, who sat crying on the back patio because of the mistakes and regret that you were dwelling in.
I don’t think you stopped crying until about 6 months ago and the transformation has been beautiful to watch and be apart of. You know you have that smile that lights up every room you walk into Kasey. you glow from the inside out. I’m so grateful to God for what He’s done in you. So honored to have been apart of this journey with you and pray dear God that you stay connected to Armor up. You mean the world to me and to all the women. You are family. You have a lot to offer that you can give back to the women who walk through our doors. I pray that you continue to come from a place of Victory because God has amazing plans for you. So excited to see your purpose and all He’s going to do in and through your life. now go, and be the change and the light in the world which God called you to be. May you spread the gospel to those who cross your path. I love you always.

Maureen Testimony

So proud of you Maureen for so bravely sharing your testimony the good the bad the ugly and of God’s beautiful redemption at Grace Pointe. Me and all the girls celebrate you. So happy we could all come and support you so you can know how important and loved you are. our mess is definitely our message. God doesn’t waste a hurt, tragedy, or mistake. He uses it all for His glory.

As the team gets ready to depart, please join me in praying for safe travels and for all the individuals God plans to make an impact on. If you would like to learn more about all that we will be doing in El Salvador, please click here.

Amazon Wishlist

We are so happy to announce that we have started an Amazon Wishlist. We hope that you would consider purchasing some of the added items to help us with outreach projects, fun activities, and house maintenance. We will also be updating this list to keep our faithful friends and supporters up to date on our needs. Nothing listed is brand-specific; we are extremely grateful and not very picky. We will be grateful for whatever God puts on your heart. Click here to view our wish list.

Get Involved

Please continue to lift Redemption House or the land up in prayer. We know it is God’s will so we do not have to keep turning women in need of recovery away; we are trusting his timing. We are closer today than we were last two months, Praise God for that!

If you have it in your heart to give, please visit our Get Involved page to see ways that you can help support our mission, either financially, directly on our website, through PayPal and Venmo(@armoruprecovery), or through volunteering.

Thank you again for all you do for ARMOR UP and our girls! We could not do it without you! We appreciate all your love, support, and prayers!

GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

May the LORD bless you and keep you and make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you!

May he turn his face towards you and give you his peace!
