Our Heavenly Father is so so good and we have lots to share! October and November seemed to have gone by so fast but we are excited for all the new and exciting things God is doing in and through His ministry. These last two months, the Lord strengthened us, in our hearts, mind, and spirit. We are GRATEFUL for all trials that come our way because our faith and endurance only grow stronger. Thank you Lord. We are excited for all that God has planned for us as we finish this year with the Joy of the Lord.

Christmas In The Streets Outreach
On Christmas Eve Day we take the toys to the worst areas around downtown Orlando, OBT, and the Paramore area and we hand them out to all the children we can find and their families. Just to see the children’s faces light up and see them smile from ear to ear as they get their special toy and be so excited as we bless them is so beautiful and fulfilling. It opens the door and softens hearts to receive the real meaning behind our outreach and that is to show the love of Jesus to the most broken and share the Gospel and bring more people to heaven with us. To spread joy and light to the darkest places. It also opens the door for us to pray with the hurting, most poverty-stricken families. They are very receptive when we come bearing gifts, blankets, toiletries, bibles for the whole family and most of all unconditional love. We have seen many women, children, and even grown men cry allowing us to pray for them. We hug them, love on them and we let them know they are not forgotten, they are remembered, and that we are all His dearly loved children! We are brothers and sisters. We Are Family!
Would you like to be a part of our Outreach to God’s most hurting and broken Children and Families in what should be a beautiful CHRISTmas for all of God’s children? We need you and they need you if you want to touch the lives of these families, you can help them in various ways. Every year we collect a minimum of 100 toys. We need ALL of these items this year.
- Toys, Toys, Toys!
- Throw blankets (new or gently used)
- Perfumes, lotions, and makeup for moms and teenage girls
- Journals
- Coats, Jackets, Hats, Scarves, Gloves
- Financial donations: Click here.

Our October in Review
El Salvador Missions Trip – Part 1
I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart who prayed and who financially supported my mission trip to El Salvador. It was an amazing spirit-filled and life-changing mission trip. I was so blessed to go with two of our graduates from Armor Up Recovery Homes as part of our team. To see what God has done in these women and now their hearts to serve, love others and the broken just brings me to my knees in gratitude to our Lord and Savior of souls.
We got to spread the Gospel to men off the streets seeking sobriety, recovery and healing at Casa Mayor Amor, the ONLY men’s outdoor recovery home in El Salvador. I will not forget their eyes…….
We got to go to several of the children’s schools and we got to go to No Greater Love Orphanage where we spread the love and the Gospel through crafts, games, and worship. It was beautiful. These children, with so little, light up an entire room when they smile. They are so thankful and grateful with so little, they sure could teach us a few things about what’s truly important and about gratitude.
We got to go and recruit members of the community and have church right outside under a pavilion. We made crafts, toys, played games games and worshipped followed by a beautiful message for the adults. We were able to go to an outdoor womens church where one of our team members got to share her testimony, she was also a part of Armor Up last year. It was powerful to see all that God has done in her and through her to reach others.
We got to hit the streets one day to rescue the homeless addicts and bring them to the men’s recovery home. We had a couple of men that God allowed us to meet and witness to them but unfortunately some just weren’t ready for recovery. It’s heartbreaking that living homeless and sleeping in the street isn’t a low enough bottom to want and need help. But that’s the sad truth for many alcoholics, the length and depths and bottom that we must reach, its heart wrenching, and some of us just don’t make it out alive. It’s such a reminder to me of how blessed I am to have made my way out of the pits of hell that addiction brought me to, others aren’t so lucky or blessed. The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy.
One day we went to an outdoor male prison, which I will make a separate post about because the experience changed my life. I have not been the same since that day and that encounter with those lost, lonely, broken men behind the bars of that filthy, hot, overcrowded prison. I have seen animals who have had better living conditions. It was truly heart breaking but let me tell you God showed up in mighty powerful way for me and everyone on our team and for those men, it was profound.
I had reservations about how I could reach people who speak a different language than me but the Holy Spirit had His way and the Holy Spirit worked mightly in all of us on the team and in every life we had the honor of getting to meet. Everyone on our team was used by God. As 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 tells, In our weakness, God’s power is made perfect so we would boast all the more about our weakness so that God’s power may rest on us and may work in and through us in Jesus name.
I’m so grateful I got to be a part of such an amazing team of men and women who love Jesus and His people so much. Again, thank you to all of you who prayed for us and partnered with us. You were the reason we got to be there. May God bless you all abundantly.
St. Luke’s Annual Ministry Fair
We attended St. Luke’s Annual Ministry Fair, and we love this church! They are the hands and feet of Jesus. They are what the Body of Christ is supposed to look like. Thank you, St. Luke’s, for all the connections and partnerships we’re able to make each and every year. It was SO fruitful. We look forward to coming again next year! Thank you and God bless all of you and your congregation.

Our November in Review
YPN – Christian Chamber
Last week, we had the opportunity to send our Assistant, Natalie, to the Young Professionals Network (YPN) through the Central Florida Christian Chamber of Commerce.
We’re thrilled to also now be part of the Christian Chamber family! Natalie had a wonderful time meeting new people, connecting with other faith-driven professionals, and sharing our mission. We’re so thankful for opportunities like this to build meaningful relationships and spread awareness of our mission to restore hope and transform lives.

Encounter Night – Lake Eola
November 5th, 2025, was truly a night to remember. The Lord’s tangible presence surrounded the heart of Orlando at Lake Eola with Journey Church and along the streets. The seats were overflowing with people hungry for the Lord, singing His name, breaking chains, and healing. Prayer warriors surrounded the area as well and offered prayer ministry time to those who needed the Lord’s mighty touch. Tears were shed, hearts rejoiced, hands were raised, God came to us! Thank you Pastor JJ for your obedience to sharing His word and reminding all of us that Jesus’s name is above ALL names. When Jesus died on the cross, it was the transaction for eternity and destruction of the enemy. Christ paid the price for all of us sinners and, as a church, we are the body and NOW we have the authority to tear down walls! Your name, Jesus, is above ALL names and we declare it today over all addictions and destructive lifestyles!
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every nee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. AMEN Philippians 2:9-11 NKJV

Recovery House Gala
We love to support all recovery outlets here in Florida and we were blessed to be able to attend Recovery House’s Gala.

Longwood City Council Opportunity
We had the honor of speaking at the Longwood Council’s Lunch & Learn this month for the Nonprofit Spotlight! It was such a blessing to share who we are, the heart behind our recovery homes, the growth we’re seeing, and the needs in front of us. Getting to speak with local businesses, leaders, and community partners has been wonderful and we’re so excited to keep building new partnerships who will come along side us to keep changing lives, one woman at a time. Thank you Longwood Council for having us!

Testimony Sharing – Frankie
We are so proud of Frankie for her vulnerability at SWOI and sharing her testimony. We love coming alongside our women and supporting them when they get an opportunity to share all God has done in their lives for brokenness to complete healing.

Connections with a Cause
What a fantastic and beautiful evening we were asked to be a part of this month! The Connections with a Cause event, hosted by Spectrum Reach, Good Pour – Longwood, and Rock & Brew Oviedo, was truly such a blessing. Thank you so much for having us!
To everyone who stopped by our table, took the time to learn who we are, and chose to sow into this mission — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Every single donation received will go directly to Redemption House, supporting those on our waitlist who desperately need the Lord’s healing, transformation, and deliverance.
Congratulations to Teen Challenge for winning the main donation prize! We loved seeing our fellow nonprofit friends out there making such a difference in the world where there is so much need. What a joy to serve alongside organizations.

Thanksgiving
We had the most beautiful thanksgiving together. We cannot be anymore grateful for all the women God has placed in our lives.

We grateful for Pastor Michael and Rebecca LeMay.

Happy Birthday my dear Stephanie. We are so proud of the incredible woman you have become and we loved celebrating YOU this November. Keep shining the light that is within you and sharing it with others. We love you!

Sobriety Anniversaries
Happy sober anniversary to our very own, Angella Moore! Oct 4th marked 14 whole years (including days and nights lol) of recovery from all drugs, alcohol and a whole lot of other things. So this year she wanted to share a mini testimony in honor of her 14 years clean.
On September 11, 2011, on Seminole County’s jail cell floor after receiving my seventh DUI and being addicted to opiates for 11+ years, I received the gift of desperation! By Oct.4th 2011 I surrendered all my drugs and began my healing and recovery journey….
I started using pot at the age of 9 and became instantly obsessed. I was using drugs and alcohol with my dad by age 11 or 12 and many more inappropriate things…I was an addict until the age of 27 to everything or everyone that felt good. Anything or anyone is what I used to numb and escape and fill the huge empty hole and void inside of me. I used heavily until the age of 27, alcohol and cocaine were my drugs of choice for most of those years. I stayed clean for 7 or 8 years off of everything and then my doctor prescribed opioids for my migraines and instantly I was obsessed, yet once again. I lived the following 11+ years for that high. I was in a love affair and I chased that high with everything in me and I could never get enough. They gave me superpowers, I thought. I could actually keep up with me. They were legal and my doctor prescribed them so it was okay, right?
You see, I never healed from the inside out. I never worked all the 12-steps of recovery. I never kept a sponsor long. And I never got all the other healing that needed to take place and didn’t. I was a very broken little girl inside of an adult body. When I got clean I just became a supermom, superwife, housekeeper, cook, maid, and chauffeur. I was going to make up for the wreckage of my past. My title, my job, making 6 figures a year, the house, the boat, the cars, the toys, and the kids were what I lived and breathed for. I was just trying to be loveable and be super everything so everyone would love and approve of me and so that I wouldn’t hate myself so badly, living in the guilt and shame that tormented me from the time I was a little girl. I felt I was never enough. I never could or would be enough. See I was looking in all the wrong places, things, and people for love, approval, and satisfaction to no avail.
I am in awe of what God has done in my life over the last 14 years. I was beaten and broken and should’ve been dead. I had wished for death. It sure seemed easier than quitting my opiates. Up to that point, the thought of death brought me great comfort. I knew I did not begin to fit in this world and that I just didn’t belong here. I felt everyone would be so much better without me, I really did… that was the lie from the devil that I truly believed in my toxic mind. I honestly just didn’t have the guts to put a bullet in my head or I would have… but God saved me in His infinite wisdom, on that jail cell floor with my 7th DUI. I knew He wasn’t gonna let me die and He wasn’t letting me out of this world that easily. I cried out to Him from a place I had never cried from before and I finally truly surrendered all. That is when I received the gift of desperation and what a ride it’s been the last 14 years with my Lord. I sought GOD, RECOVERY, and inner healing like I sought drugs, alcohol, and everything else that felt good…… in return He healed me from the inside out.
Let me tell you He has been my fix, my high like no other, and I am madly in love with Him. I will spend the rest of my life spreading His love and the gospel to the broken in all 4 corners of the earth. My life today is to pass it on and help others find true healing, be set free, and climb out of the pits of hell and the chains of their addictions. This is how Armor Up Recovery Homes and Ministry was birthed.GOD did not waste a hurt, a tragedy or mistake! It is all being used for HIS GLORY! My MESS IS MY MESSAGE! I have the honor now of helping women change their story by working on lasting inner healing, deliverance, and transformations from ALL addictions and destructive lifestyles. Armor Up gets to come alongside each woman with the tools IN WAYS uniquely tailored for them and their journey of recovery and transformation so that God can help heal their mind, body, soul, and spirit and help them recover all that God intended for them to be and have. If God can save a wretch like me, He will do it for anyone. MAY YOU FIND HOPE NOW. (Romans 15:13 May the God of HOPE fill you with all JOY and PEACE as you TRUST IN HIM so that you may overflow with HOPE by the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT.) I believe in the power of unconditional love, redemption, and transformation… Every individual is full of value with a valuable story. The goal being to help them step into their true GOD-given purpose, and go be the world changers GOD called them to be. If He can set this prisoner free, He can set anyone free! Thank you JESUS!
“Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.” 1 Corinthians 1:26-29
“I am a new creation in Christ, the old has gone, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17
“I know the truth today. I have been set free.” John 8:32
“I consider my life worth nothing, if only I may finish the race and the task set before me. The task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace.” Acts 20:24
