Hi friends and supporters! I pray all of you are well and holding up with the heat of our Florida summers. I’m enjoying tons of summer fun activities and a break form the normal schedule and I’m praying you are too. We are doing tons of new things at Armor Up. Thank you for all you do with your love, prayers, and support.

We have filled a couple very needed spots on our board, but we are still in need of a treasurer. Please email angella@armoruprecovery.org with any and all suggestions. We are definitely forming new partnerships so we can continue to grow our recovery community and continue to be a voice advocating for those suffering from addiction and human trafficking.

Answered Prayers
Look at this beautiful bunch! Beautiful Sharell with both of her kids at church… an answer to a whole lot of prayers. So many new faces we get the honor of beginning their recovery journey. What a powerful day it was. Many salvation prayers were said and I am so proud and so happy and so in awe of God‘s goodness and power!!!!! I love you all.
Armor Up Birthdays
Had an awesome dinner and birthday celebration for so many of our girls are born in May, June, and July. We celebrate BIG TIME the day GOD brought each of these beautiful souls into our world. Courtney R. who turned 28 years old and our Nichole who turned 22!!! And congratulations to Courtney R. on her nine months clean medallion & Nichole on six months! Happy Birthday to FRANKIE my sponsee of over 8 years and now our amazing house mom at FREEDOM HOUSE! GOD IS SOOOO GOOD! Happy birthday to our incredible amazing house mom of VICTORY HOUSE the one and only Sharell! We also celebrated our precious Briana’s born day, who just happens to be my grand sponsee! And last but definitely not least our newest addition, who is soooo special. Our new Courtney’s birthday! I sooo enjoyed celebrating you all! You each have a unique and divine calling and purpose! Love you all so much! So proud of you! I can’t wait to see all that God has in store for all of you this new year of life that he’s given you. I love doing this recovery journey with you! 4th of July Party
Had an awesome Fourth of July at VICTORY house! I encourage the girls to invite their families. It just wrecks me when they tell me this is the first time they remember that they have spent time with their family and had such a good time. One of our girls never got to celebrate many holidays and this was her first forth of july celebration. This Is WHY WE DO THIS! Thank you to all who cooked and all who came and loved and laughed with us! Sharell you set up such an amazing spread with our favorite foods you make and decorated so beautifully ! Thank you so much for that and for making it so special! I’m sooooo sad I didn’t get pictures of this AWESOME smorgasbord of FOOD!!!!!!!!! We even made s’mores in our fire pit! Played corn hole and TONS OF FIREWORKS! I thought I had a ton of them, then Michael went and got the “Mac daddy” of all fireworks!!!!!!! Thank you! So awesome right there in our front yard!!! Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE FIREWORKS!!!!!!!! Made some new cherished memories this year. I remember the last several years of my addiction and the first couple years I got clean they were so lonely. I remember me and my little girl sitting on our dock just watching fireworks, wishing I had people to celebrate with and I just can’t believe that’s where my life took me so I am grateful to each and everyone of you for new beautiful memories made and I know some of you women relate and this was the first Fourth of July you’ve celebrated and enjoyed and had clean sober fun and are feeling great today and we remember it all! We made some wonderful memories together that I will cherish forever. Relationships were made and forged stronger! My precious grandsons and my girl had soooo much fun!!!! God bless you all that were a part of our beautiful Independence Day celebration 2023 I love you!!!!!!
Freedom Reigns
Celebrate recovery’s annual FREEDOM REIGNS PICNIC AND PARTY! I have never missed one yet since 2011. I love our picnic and love all the games we play and the food is incredible. I love making memories with friends. I sure will miss Laurie Jean who has been our leader and who got me to celebrate recovery 12 years ago and showed me so much grace. I will be eternally grateful for you Laurie Jean. I love you and I thank you for leading the way!

Sandie’s Birthday
Had an awesome time at your birthday Sandie! Sandie is one of our graduates and is now being used mightily by GOD. Her redemption story is just miraculous! She has been ALL IN from the beginning and submitted to GOD and had the gift of desperation from her first day at FREEDOM HOUSE. She worked the entire program and has been restored with her kids and her testimony is so powerful! There were other graduates and girls presently in the houses from Armor up. Honestly it just warmed my heart to the core! You all know who you are in these pictures and I love you so much and I’m so proud of each and every one of you. I made some great new friends and some of the girls that are on ARMOR UPS board were there and I just had a blast. Thank you for throwing the party Helen and Sandie! love you so much
Journey Church
LOVE DOING CHURCH WITH ALL OF YOU! Jimmy Rollins, you rocked our world with your message! If you all have not watched this man, you must! You owe it to yourselves. He had us in tears. Sooo powerful! 2 of the girls went up with me to give him a hug and have him sign my book…He gave them both his book also…”Love Outside the Lines.” Can’t wait to read it!
