We are forming new partnerships so we can continue to grow our recovery community and continue to be a voice advocating for those suffering from addictions, human trafficking, and so much more.

Backpack’s In The Streets Outreach

We wanted to share that it is time again for our Homeless Backpack Outreach on May 24th. We use this day to go out into the streets of Orlando and share the gospel with the lost and broken while also providing them with everyday essentials like toiletries and hygiene products, snacks, socks, Bibles, etc. We have been so blessed to do this every year and have the opportunity to pray over, encourage, and bless our brothers and sisters who have lost their way. We ask that anyone who feels called to do so please consider contributing in any way that you can. We have included below a list of items we have found to be very helpful, but if there is anything we are missing that you think could be useful, we would greatly appreciate it. Cash donations are also accepted through Venmo @armoruprecovery (please title: Homeless Backpacks).

46th Annual Community Seder Dinner at Fellowship Church

So grateful and honored to have been able to take all of the women from Victory and Freedom house to Fellowship Church for their 46th annual community Seder dinner. The church covered the whole meal for all of our 15 women. Celebrating Pesach (Passover) in this church and the way that they went through the whole thing was the most beautiful, enjoyable Seder dinner I have ever attended. We all learned so much. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sponsoring all of our women to be a part of something so meaningful and profound. The worship, the meal and partaking of the 4 cups, the singing in Hebrew, trumpet… left us so filled and really took us all back to the true meaning of why we celebrate the Passover and Resurrection Day.

Harvest Time’s Common Ground Market

Enjoyed being a part of Harvest Time’s Common Ground Market Day! Thank you for having us, it was great to connect with all of the non-profits and with Mary and Michael at Harvest Time. Very grateful to connect with new partners in the community!

Painting Stepping Stones

Loved painting our stepping stones with encouraging words and scriptures for the entryways to Freedom and Victory house with you ladies! I enjoy watching you all be so creative! I don’t think we’ve ever had any more beautiful stepping stones as these, thank you ladies and my precious grandson for such a special day, you did amazing and we had lots love, fun and laughter also.

Birthday’s: Lisa and Kathleen

Birthdays are a big deal to Armor Up. We celebrate the gift of these women’s lives and all that they are and who God is making them to be. We are wishing two of our beautiful women a very happy birthday! We are so blessed to have the opportunity to do this recovery journey alongside both of you. Praying his overwhelming blessing and favor over you in this new year of your lives!

Psalm 139:13-14 We are fearfully and wonderfully made, our Lord knit us together in our mother’s womb, he created my inmost being. Your works are wonderful Lord and you know every hair on our head.

Christine Graduation from Armor Up’s Victory House

Today we celebrate more than a graduation – we celebrate strength, courage, and a life reclaimed. Watching you grow, heal, and push forward has been such a blessing. You chose the hard road, and it’s led you here. This is only the beginning of everything you’re capable of. We are so proud of you. Keep shining, one day at a time. What a beautiful reminder of what God can do with a willing heart. Your journey hasn’t been easy, but your faith, perseverance, and strength have carried you through. Today marks a new chapter filled with purpose, hope, and freedom. We are beyond proud of the woman you are becoming. We all are believing you will be fully reconciled with your 3 precious sons very soon in Jesus name. You are already coming from a place of VICTORY. (get it lol) This is your story of redemption! What the enemy meant for harm, God is going to use for good in every area of your life, you go girl! We love you, remember your family back here, we want to hear all the VICTORY.

Do not grow weary in doing good for at the right time you shall reap a harvest if you don’t give up and lose heart. Galatians 6:9

Decorating and Passing out Encouraging Stones

We also painted small stones to go place at bus stops, where people walk, and where the homeless dwell, leaving a little piece of hope for whoever God intended it for. We even got the chance to hand some stones to people we came across and pray for them. It was absolutely beautiful. We never know how a little kindness can change someone’s life. We never know what someone may be going through or where they are going when they stumble upon one of these stones. Each year, we make it a point to make a few “surrender” stones in remembrance of a woman named Amanda, who came to us after finding one of our stones at a bus stop during her addiction. She saw the word surrender on that stone and knew it was time to let go and get help. Who would have thought that God could do such great big things with just a little stone? We tell this story every year to encourage the women and our supporters, forever reminding them that everything we do matters, even the smallest of things. Thank you for the honor, Lord, allowing us to go and spread the gospel and your love! Our mess has truly become our message. It is our prayer, Lord, that these stones reach the exact right people at exactly the right time with the word that they know is just from you to them because you love us so much. We do this every year to encourage our brothers and sisters in our neighborhoods! We are blessed to be able to do this.

4Roots

To John Rivers and Bianca at 4Roots, Thank you for having us out to see all that you guys do. You are such a blessing bringing all the fresh fruits and vegetables to Freedom and Victory house every month. We truly appreciate being able to eat some healthy fruits and vegetables and having them personally delivered with all the yummy stuff that you bring us also. We love you guys so much. God bless you John Rivers. You are doing amazing things, our world needs all the good nutrition and education on good nutrition we can get.
