Hi friends and supporters! I pray this ARMOR UP update finds all of you happy, full of joy and overflowing with peace. Summer is just around the corner. Are we ready for the fun and heat? May we consider it all joy. May we treasure every moment, because tomorrow isn’t given! May we live life to the fullest measure, staying in true thankfulness for all that is good and right in our lives! I thank God for All of you!

Courtney R’s Graduation!
Courtney, you have come a super long way! Wow how God has done a mighty work in you and has transformed you from the young woman who walked through that door at Victory House. You are a beautiful light to others of God’s transforming and redemption power if you surrender, let go. let God and seek him like we sought the drugs, alcohol, and everything else. You have done that Courtney and I’m so proud of you, I love you and God has amazing things in store for you! I can’t wait to continue on this next part of your journey. It’s so exciting great victory in store for you my love.

Congratulations on your one year Clean and Sober, Courtney! So proud of you and so grateful to be on this recovery journey with you. You are such a beautiful soul inside and out and I’m so excited to see all that God has in store for you! You are very special to me, love you so much! So cool to have so many of us there to support you tonight. I love this Mötley Crew, this beautiful family!
Rhonda’s Testimony
Look at our beautiful motley crew! We even had some of our graduates from the houses with us. God is THE GOD of miracles. We are all his beautiful miracles. We loved hearing your testimony, Rhonda you did amazing. We are all so very proud of you and how far you have come. Stepping out of your comfort zone to be a light to so many as a witness, that with God, all things are possible. He can restore, redeem, remake, and renew all that was lost and work it for good for HIS GLORY and for all the world to see that by his power and our surrender, through him we are transformed! Our mess is our message! He does not waste a hurt, or a tragedy, or a mistake. He works it all for his good, because we are called according to his good purposes. What the enemy meant for harm God uses for good in a mighty way! His promises are true! His healing power immeasurable, and his unconditional love unfathomable. All of these women … all of us were that one lost sheep at one point in our lives majorly lost almost dead, and the Lord left the 99 sheep. Our good Shepherd left the flock to come and get us, and he pursued us and put us on his shoulders and carried us back to the flock, to life, truth, and love. He loves us so much and he loves all of you too. God bless you all.
Seder Dinner at Community Church
Thank you so much community church for having us to celebrate the Seder feast (last supper)(Passover meal). It was incredible beautiful to take part in everything that Jesus did and taught that last supper before he was crucified and resurrected! Chosen People’s Ministries did an amazing job, teaching us to pray in Hebrew, singing, speaking, and ministering over us in Hebrew as our Lord did! The food and their rituals of their food and their drinks were so precise and all had meaning . I loved partaking in it and sharing this with all of these women. It was powerful. We thank you again Community Methodist Church for having us!

I remember that day, Elizabeth I remember when God brought you to us. it’s been 4 years, my gosh, and what a beautiful butterfly you’ve turned into. You were in your own little cocoon, and look at what God has done in your life, You are married to a good Godly man, have your children with you, and you are an amazing wife, mother, friend, sponsor, and citizen etc. Elizabeth, watching you and what God has restored, redone, remade, and redeemed in your life is truly miraculous. I’m so proud of you beyond words. Armor Up will always be here for you cheering you on if you ever need anything at all. God bless you and happy birthday. I remember the very next day after the middle picture was taken was your birthday and we were all shocked because you didn’t tell us! We got to celebrate that very next day your birth and what a beautiful journey it’s been ever since. Yeah not easy not one bit, but you did the hard things you persevered and you pressed into GOD, you listened well and trusted God and girl you overcame a whole lot of obstacles, you did it and God did it. I love you forever.
Backpacks for the homeless
On May 26th, 2024, members of our ministry and women at our Freedom House and Victory House Recovery homes will be going to the streets of the downtown Orlando area as we do annually to give backpacks full of toiletries, necessities, a blanket, food, etc. to the homeless. Our mission is to bring hope, love, and Jesus by being a light and SHARING THE GOSPEL with God’s most lost and broken people. We will show our lost brothers and sisters that they are not forgotten that they are not alone and are loved. Every year the impact has been profound and beautiful to witness. You can be a part of all that God is going to do with your prayers and contributions. Help us be the hands and feet of Jesus as we help spread love and hope while providing everyday essentials. NAMIwalk for Celebrate Recovery
Armor Up Recovery Homes & Ministry is proud to announce that we will be participating in the NAMIwalk of Greater Orlando in partnership with Celebrate Recovery at Northland Church. At Armor Up we are proud to come alongside those who are standing up and advocating for mental health awareness, especially in the addictions community. We are very excited to walk and raise awareness for the NAMI organization and our local partners Celebrate Recovery for providing a safe and encouraging space for anyone looking for victory from substance abuse, mental health disorders, anger, codependency, and everything in between.
